I would like to preface all of my recipes by saying that I am not a chef nor have any professional culinary schooling. Given the opportunity I would certainly not pass up traditional culinary training in the burbs of Italy or France, but I cook purely for pleasure and to promote well-being.
… am incredibly passionate about what I do and cook to challenge the misconception that healthy food is bland and boring.
… keep whole grains + whole foods at the core of my cooking and enjoy combining unexpected ingredients that give each meal a healthy kick.
… am a huge advocate of local + organic ingredients of which I incorporate in each of my dishes.
… aim for this blog to enlighten you to create your own lifestyle based on this concept.
I think we have the same objective. I like to cook healthy foods because I have two growing kids but I cannot be 100% true to the core. It does get boring! I don’t like wasting the food too so I try to use the leftover ingredients. Interesting blog you have. Thank you for dropping by on my side.
Hi Weng – Many thanks for checking out my blog as well! Glad you have similar philosophies with food 🙂
I stumbled upon your blog after searching for an interesting and healthy burdock recipe that wasn’t just another burdock&carrot rendition. Your blog is incredible, beautiful with depth and personality! I never comment on blogs, but I just had to say something 😉 Thanks!
That is SO sweet! Thank you for sharing your thoughts 🙂
